These initial sounds worksheets are a great way to teach students to listen for and recognise the initial sounds in words. Each set has 2-3 initial letters/sounds. Cut out the pictures on the second page of each set and match them to the initial letter sound that the student can hear when they say the word. Each letter will have 5 pictures that correlate to the sound (except for x which only has 1).
